How do you photograph weddings?
I start by sending you a questionnaire to help me create a timeline for your day. After that we will meet to go over everything and any must have photos and special moments occurring during your day.
On your big day, I will be bossy when needed and will also hang back to capture those candid moments. I want to capture the joy and love felt on your day. I want it to feel natural and easy so prepare to be silly, intimate, but also comfortable in front of the camera.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Charlotte, NC but would love to travel! Travel fees do apply outside of 100 miles of Charlotte as I will have to get a hotel and potentially a flight if it is not driving distance. We can discuss this further through booking.
Travel fees vary based in distance. They may include but are not limited to a hotel for 1-2 nights, gas, airfare, and rental car. All are dependent on the distance from Charlotte, NC.
How many photos will I get?
This of course depends on how many hours of coverage. I average 75-100 photos per hour working so factor in travel time as well as meal breaks. Also account for a second photographer as that is more images as well.
Do you offer any customizations?
All packages can be customized to fit your needs. Want to add an hour? Great let's add on an additional hour! Want to swap our the engagement session for an extra hour? Sounds good! I am here to work with you and try my best to accommodate what you are wanting and help you stick to your budget.
What equipment do you use?
This is a great question to ask any photographer! I have 2 mirrorless cameras and a handful of lenses. Both cameras have dual slots meaning 2 memory cards are in them at all times. I also have a flash with a diffuser for all those fun dance shots! I have stacks of memory cards and batteries always on me!
Are you insured?
Yes! Any professional will have business insurance. My equipment is covered as well as having liability which some venues may ask for. This will take a weight off your shoulders with your venue if they require it.
